TAWAU: Zambasulta Traders Association President Faizal Jamalul thanked the GRS-led Sabah Government for allowing the use of kumpits (traditional wooden boats) in barter trade and transhipment activities from Sabah to the Philippines and Indonesia, and vice versa, starting March 5.
Commenting on the announcement of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, he said the decision is timely, laudable and beneficial to the people of the three borders.
