TAWAU: A Filipino was apprehended seven hours after he allegedly slashed his wife to death at Kg Tanah Merah Checkpoint, Km 50, Jalan Tawau-Semporna, on Sunday.

Tawau Police Chief ACP Peter Umbuas said the victim, believed to be pregnant, was found with slash wounds on the back of her neck, following the 5pm incident.
