Tuaran: A disabled senior citizen who lived alone died in a fire that consumed his home at Kg Tombongon, Kiulu, here, Saturday night.
The man known as Ah Chong in his 60s is understood to have lived near a church but far away from other residents.
Head of the Tuaran Fire and Rescue Department Abdul Qawie Abdul Gapar said the station dispatched 10 firemen to the scene after receiving an alert at 11.29pm.
