Kota Kinabalu: Employers in Sabah have been advised to obtain the required certificates for their employees’ accommodation and warned not to build quarters within the factory to avoid legal action under the Emergency Ordinance (Minimum Standards on Housing, Accommodation and Employee Facilities) Act 446.

The Emergency Ordinance Act 446 (EO 446) was extended to Sabah on Feb. 26, with the main purpose of stopping the spread of covid-19 among workers.
