Federal move to OK RM600m Kalabakan-Kalimantan road lauded

TAWAU: State Assistant Finance Minister-cum-Apas Assemblyman Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan (pic) welcomed the Federal Government’s move to approve a total of RM600 million for the construction of road linkage between Serudong in Kalabakan, Tawau and Simanggaris, Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Nizam said the project would include the construction of a Customs, Immigration, Quarantine and Security (CIQS) Complex at the Serudong/Simanggaris checkpoint.
