Kota Kinabalu: Both Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) and Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) – members of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) State Government that is aligned with Perikatan Nasional at the federal level – called on all parties to respect the Kuala Lumpur High Court’s ruling allowing non-Muslims to refer to God by the Arabic word “Allah”.Its Star Deputy President, Jalumin Bayogoh, a Muslim, said he is astounded that the issue is still being hotly debated and become a point of contention among the public.
