KUDAT: Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP) branch here has taken action against a restaurant and a supermarket here for supplying food using a non-certified Halal logo.Its branch head Geoffrey Gumalang said the operators of both premises had action taken under the Trade Descriptions Act 2011 for using a non-certified Halal logo to supply and sell food to customers especially Muslims.
