Kota Kinabalu: Former Chief Minister Tan Sri Chong Kah Kiat said there is need to eliminate corruption among enforcement officials at all entry points if the Government is serious in wanting to control the influx of illegal immigrants (Pati) into Sabah.

The veteran politician attributed the influx mainly to lax enforcement by officials who allow illegals to enter through various entry points, including rat trails (jalan tikus).
