Kota Kinabalu: Sabah DAP told Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to read up important documents that became the basis of Malaysia’s formation after the latter’s pledge to amend the Federal Constitution to strengthen shariah law in the country.

Its Secretary Chan Foong Hin (pic) said Umno had taken a regressive step by pushing for such an amendment and the introduction of a Control and Restriction on the Propagation of Non-Muslim Religions Bill.
