TAMBUNAN: The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) here caught a 1.6-meter crocodile at Kg Lubong early Tuesday.Chief of Operations, Senior Fire Officer II David Wong said they received a call at 4.39am before deploying a team from the Tambunan Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) to the scene. “Upon arrival, the firemen had already caught the crocodile and covered its eyes with a jacket as well as tied its mouth with adhesive tapes.

“The crocodile was then brought back to the station before it was handed to the Keningau Wildlife Department (JHL) for further action.
