Kota Kinabalu: Kota Kinabalu opened their campaign with a 4-0 thrashing of Papar in the West Coast Zone of the Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin Cup football tournament held at the Sabah Football Association (Safa) football field on Friday.

The tournament which was officially kicked off by organising chairman Lokman Sunggim representing Safa Bandaraya President Alijus Sipil saw the city boys leading 2-0 at half time.
