Tuaran: Sabah is an exemplary state in the country in curbing Covid-19, said Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
“Sabah is a good example to the other states as we can control the Covid-19 transmissions through the public health method,” he said during a working visit to Tuaran Hospital, Sunday.
“From four digits, in the recent six weeks, we manage to record only two digits of daily additional cases in Sabah.”
Six months ago, he said, nobody would have expected that the number of daily new cases could be reduced.
“And I am confident if we continue to apply the public health method, it is not impossible for us to record only single-digit or zero new cases in a day."
