“Ironically, Singapore is also located within the South China Sea, very close to Malaysia,” noted analyst researcher Dr C.Y. Voon as AmCham CEO Siobhan Das said the cabotage exemption repeal comes at a particularly critical time when Malaysia seeks to compete for digital infrastructure investments and drive economic recovery.
