SANDAKAN: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor (pic) said Sabah and Sarawak were known as regions (wilayah) prior to agreeing to join Malaya and Singapore to form Malaysia in 1963.Although this has not been officially finalised, he viewed this as an effort to unite the country.
