Kota Kinabalu: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan (pic) said the State Government will have to wait for instructions from the Prime Minister’s Department (JPM) before making any official change to the term to refer Sabah as a region, and no longer as a state.He said although Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had mentioned that Sabah and Sarawak have higher positions than a state, no official order has been made for government departments to start referring to Sabah and Sarawak as regions yet.
