Kota Kinabalu: State Agriculture and Fisheries Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan is pleased with the various achievements made by the State Agriculture Department which augur well for the State Government’s focus on the agriculture sector to boost the State economy.He said the department has managed to continue making improvements, including introducing new fruit varieties like Durian Babagon, Durian Merah (QDG1), Jackfruit (QJF1) and Jagung Ungu (purple corn), despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
