Kota Kinabalu: Sabah, which has the lowest registration rate for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme, has the potential to be a major contributor to the Covid-19 pandemic through a series of celebrations this year.

Kuamut Assemblyman Datuk Masiung Banah (pic) said although all the festivals are subject to the standard operating procedures (SOPs), it is difficult to control, especially involving feasts and family gatherings, particularly during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Pesta Kaamatan (Harvest Festival) celebrations in May and June.
