Kota Kinabalu: A total of 24 Covid-19 cases have been found in a new cluster involving a secondary religious school in Kota Kinabalu, said Datuk Masidi Manjun today.
“The index cases are two Form 2 students in one of the religious secondary schools. Both were found positive during symptomatic screenings on Apr 12,” said Sabah’s spokesman for the crisis in a statement about the cluster named as Jalan Khidmat.
“All the index patients’ contacts at the school were sampled. Of the 796 samples taken, 22 were positive, 228 negative and 544 results still pending.”
Today’s other cluster is named Batu 10 in Tawau started by a primary school teacher who infected people including her husband, an employee of the Cocoa Board; and her student, added Masidi.
