SANDAKAN: Foreign vessels from Vietnam or the Philippines permitted to fish in Sabah waters are only allowed to do so in the west coast but not in the East Coast and Tawau to protect the state’s marine resources.Sandakan MP Vivian Wong said issues such as illegal fishing, fish bombing, licence renewal and enforcement in the district must be viewed seriously.
