SANDAKAN: A Filipino’s attempt to smuggle 3,000 turtle eggs into the district via a pump boat during “terawih” time proved futile as he was caught by the General Operation Force (GOF).GOF Battalion 15 personnel on “Op Benteng” patrol nabbed the 31-year-old suspect near Pulau Nunuyan, at about 8.30pm, on Saturday.
