Milo squad is back to help during Ramadan

PETALING JAYA: Milo’s #SkuadKebaikanMilo returns this year to encourage Malaysians spread goodness and support communities most in-need during the fasting month of Ramadan.

Partnering Shopee for the second year, Milo aims to build on the #SkuadKebaikanMilo platform it established last year and rally Malaysians to make their charitable contributions towards providing nourishment to those in-need.

According to Consumer Marketing Manager of Milo®, Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad, Maria Murni Nur Azmi, #SkuadKebaikanMilo offers Malaysians a safe and convenient way to give back to the community during these challenging times. “We understand that keeping safe distances from one another does not stop Malaysians from doing good. As such, we are bringing back #SkuadKebaikanMilo so that Malaysians can continue to help one another more easily while staying safe,” she said. Through #SkuadKebaikanMILO, Malaysians have the option to purchase any of the four Milo® goodness bundle packs containing Milo® powder and other Nestlé products priced at RM25, RM55, RM95 and RM155 each. All bundles purchased will be donated equally to seven charity organisations serving B40 communities, old folks, single mothers and orphans. The organisations are Human Aid Selangor, Kuching Food Aid, The Lost Food Project, Malaysian Relief Aid, Food Aid Foundation and Yayasan Persona, as well as selected residents of Pangsapuri Sri Tanjung, USJ 16 in Subang Jaya, Selangor through a partnership with Astro. On top of the bundle packs, for every one unit of participating Milo products purchased from the Nestlé Online Store on Shopee Malaysia, RM1 worth of selected Nestlé products will be contributed to the listed beneficiaries.

The campaign starts April 5 and ends on May 10. Meanwhile, among Malaysians participating in #SkuadKebaikanMilo again this year is multi-hyphenate entertainer Datuk Aznil Nawawi, or fondly known as Pak Nil.

His support began last year after reaching out to a family affected by the pandemic and could not afford Milo for the children. Using his personal platform to spread goodness in the month of Ramadan, Pak Nil helps to collect donations online, all of which he will use to purchase the goodness bundle packs that he himself will then deliver to the community.   The public may logon to https://www.milo.com.my/skuadkebaikan-milo for more details on the campaign.
