RANAU: The District’s Fire and Rescue Department urged the people here not to engaged in open burning activities, especially during the drought season currently taking place across the district.

Ranau Fire and Rescue Chief, Ridwan Mohd Taib, said if burning cannot be avoided, it must be monitored and controlled in order to prevent the spread of fire to nearby areas.
