Plan to release nuke wastewater slammed
Kota Kinabalu: The BIMP-EAGA Business Council Malaysia condemned the planned release of 1.25 million tons of treated wastewater contaminated by the wrecked Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean. Its Chairman Datuk Roselan Johar Mohamed (pic) told Daily Express: “There has been growing concern for healthy ocean and the environment. This is especially so because we have seen so much damage done to the atmosphere, the earth and the ocean and we took it as our initiative to see that enough is enough, and we aim to make the necessary correction.”
