TAWAU: Teochew Association of Tawau Youth collected 42 pints of blood for the blood bank of Tawau hospital on their first Sunday’s blood donation drive recently.

A total of 51 registered but only 42 of them were eligible to donate their blood. However, the blood donation drive will be held in the coming three consecutive Sundays, which are on April 25, May 2 and May 9 through appointments, starting from 8am until 2pm. Organising chairman Chin Howe Siong said they will not accept on-site registration due to Covid-19. All donors are urged to make time appointment in advance before going for the blood donation.

He said they will limit only 50 donors every Sunday and success full donors will be given a goodies bag.
