SANDAKAN: The district police’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) solved 87 violent and property crime cases or 52.41 per cent between January and April this year.

District Police Chief ACP Mohd Azhar Hamin said these included the investigation and resolution of 21 criminal cases from early March to mid-April whereby they successfully tackled individual and group crimes such as car break-in, housebreaking and vehicle theft.
