Kota Kinabalu: The State Government has decided to impose a temporary ban on all individuals from Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka into the State, effective May 3.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor (pic) said this follows a new Covid-19 variant of concern (VOC) detected in certain countries, which had contributed to a surge of new cases.
