Kota Kinabalu: Sabah would be considered fortunate if its MICE industry with the opening of SICC can attract 30,000 foreign visitors in 2021 when borders reopen and exhibition events planned like Shareda’s Propex 2021 is staged to attract foreign ‘Malaysia My Second Home’ buyers and business investors with any PR offer, pending Sabah government’s decision.

Malaysia’s net FDI fell 56 per cent to US$3.4 billion (RM14.08 billion) in 2020, down from RM31.7 billion in 2019.
