SANDAKAN: Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) has been urged to address the problem of abandoned cars that have not been claimed by the owners, especially in the Elopura area.

Elopura Assemblyman, Calvin Chong said the cars were left in several residential locations and a nuisance to the neighbourhoods.

Among the complaints was at Taman Indah Jaya, Lorong 41, where a car was parked in the area for a long time, partially blocking the road.

“MPS should conduct a survey and take further action to resolve the issue so that residents would feel comfortable with a clean and safe environment.
