SANDAKAN: A total of 496 Filipinos from the Menggatal and Papar temporary detention centres were repatriated, Friday (pic).Dakota Shipping Sdn Bhd, the Aleson Shipping Line’s appointed agent in-charge of ferrying Filipino deportees from Sandakan to Zamboanga City said the exercise was carried out after Sabah authorities were informed that Zamboanga officials agreed to receive their courtrymen who had violated local immigration rules and regulations.
