Kota Kinabalu: If you stumble on this preschool, you have every reason to do a double take -- it looks exactly like a police station swarming with 80 "cops".
A creative teacher has decorated her preschool in Kapayan, here, to look like a real police station complete with a mock lock up, crime scene and the blue police uniform to boot.

The pupils of Tabika Kemas Al-Ghazali are getting an early exposure to the law enforcement field thanks to the initiative of teacher Mastina Masir, according to the Royal Malaysia Police's (PDRM) Facebook.
At the kindie, the kids, decked in the blue utility uniform of the force, not only undergo the usual syllabus, but also delve into forensics, road traffic rules as well as commercial and narcotic crime prevention with lessons from officers of the Sabah Police Contingent headquarters located just a stone's throw away, according to PDRM.
One look at the cute pictures shared in the Facebook post will definitely impress -- there's a black-painted replica mini road with perfect road signs like the yellow no-stop box, arrows, crosswalks, traffic light stop and speed limit sign. They look much better than the real deal.

The mock crime scene also looks real, with the silhouette of a lying victim clearly marked on the floor, and five yellow, numbered tags usually used to mark the locations of spent cartridges or weapons used in the crime, are hard to miss.

And beware -- there are spatters of "blood" on the crime scene as well and if you're a queasy type, avert your gaze from this picture.
Curiously, one of the blood spatters looks like a smiley. One wonders who's the party resposible for that.
And half of what looks like a menacing rifle can be seen in the crime scene picture, but this writer cannot, with the naked eye, reliably ascertain if there are also a suspect's (or several suspects'?) fingerprints on the aforementioned weapon.
The crime scene. Queasy? Told you not to look. But look, blood smiley to the right! (Photo: Facebook/PDRM)
The kindergarten's building also features the formidable blue-and-white theme you usually see on police stations and squad cars.
The preschool was opened on Aug 25 by then-Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hazani Ghazali.
The institution is manned by four teachers, four assistants, and yes -- 80 "cops" (pupils).
