TAWAU: The Sze Yip Association here is holding a Chinese New Year Reunion celebration at Maxism restaurant, Fajar, on Feb 12.
It would be officiated by president of the United Sabah Sze Yip Association (USSYA) Datuk Susan Wong Siew Guan and Permanent Honorary President Datuk Geoffrey Yee.
President of the Tawau Sze Yip Association, Wong Chew Sie, said, they not only invited the other five affiliated associations of USSYA, but also other five clans (Hakka, Hai Nam, Hokkien, Foo Chow, Teo Chew) in Tawau to the celebration.
The oldest male and female would be honoured sponsored by the permanent honorary advisor of Tawau Sze Yip Association Kapitan Chong Kok Lik, who is also the president of Semporna Sze Yip Association.
They would hold a welcome dinner at Ocean Seafood Restaurant, Fajar, on Feb 11, followed by the 17th Central Committee Meeting of the USSYA on the next day.

The Association would distribute food aid and ang pao to members aged 65 and above. They are required to register for it before Jan 15.
