TAWAU: Lahad Datu if it becomes a BIMP-EAGA  commercial logistics hubs will gain a reputation  as the new ‘Port of Rotterdam Of The East’ once collobarations between the Business Councils (BEBC) of Philippines, Sabah, and Tawi-Tawi materialise.

“Lahad Datu has a berthing draft of not less than 17 meter, best  BIMP-EAGA location,  best basic infrastructure,  sufficient industrial land bank,  good international financial system, multi SCE human resources and strong influences from worldwide business communities,” Tawau BEBC Chairman Wong Thart Sin said.
