Kota Kinabalu: The Health Department is still waiting for the whole genomic sequencing result for a Covid-19-positive woman from Tawau to determine if she was also positive for Omicron like her husband who was recorded as Sabah's first case from the world's fast-spreading variant.
State Health Director Datuk Rose Nani Mudin said the women's blood test result is expected to come back between three and four weeks.
The couple who returned to Tawau on Dec 20 after performing umrah had already completed their quarantine period and were in good health, she said.
