Kota Kinabalu: No Sabahans have been found so far to have gone to Saudi Arabia for umrah without the required fully-vaccinated status as discovered among 10 Malaysian returnees recently which sparked an investigation by the Home Ministry.

Sabah's Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said authorities were waiting for details on those involved, but as far as he knew, there had been no Sabahans implicated.

"To be honest, despite the rather strong campaign against vaccination, by far and large we are quite happy with the response from Sabahans. They are very cooperative,” Masidi said.

Masidi was speaking to reporters after meeting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri who arrived at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport's Terminal Two on Saturday to visit flood victims in Kota Marudu and Pitas.
