Kota Kinabalu: A new workplace Covid-19 cluster has been found in Kinabatangan as Sabah's daily caseload rose further to 280 today according to an update.
The cluster named Sungai Trayon involving a foreign oil palm plantation worker has recorded 25 cases, said the update shared by Sabah's spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.
Today's new cases were 27 more than yesterday, which saw a spike from the previous day, raising a concern that future cases would increase further if the increases were generated by any recent New Year's celebrations against SOPs.
