Kota Kinabalu: Two people went missing after a fish bomb went off and hit their pump boat at Pulau Tatagan off Semporna.

The Fire and Rescue Department, in today's update, said a witness said the mishap occurred yesterday and two people in the pump boat still could not be located.

A search party from the department, Maritime Malaysia and Sabah Parks has been activated.

Authorities are also still trying to determine what actually transpired yesterday, said the department.
