Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) President Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee hopes more members of the Chinese community will come forward and help the Independent Chinese Middle Schools tide over the difficulties.

Yong, a former Chief Minister, has allocated funds to Kian Kok Middle School Kota Kinabalu for three consecutive years to sponsor part of the annual school fees for two students. His deeds were affirmed by the teachers and students of Kian Kok Middle School.
