Three made homeless in Kota Belud fire

KOTA BELUD: Three in a family, including a couple, were left with nothing after their house was razed in Kg Siasai Tamu, here, Sunday.

However, no casualties were reported in the fire that started about 5pm.

Kota Belud District Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) chief, Muhammad Syazwan Latun said, upon receiving on emergency call at 5.05pm, eight firemen rushed to the scene.

He said the operation was also assisted by four personnel of the Auxiliary Fire Officer (PBB) with one machine and one Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS).
