TAWAU: Some 150 Hindu devotees celebrated a rather quiet but meaningful Thaipusam at Thirumurugan Temple Tawau, Jalan Utara Baru, on Tuesday morning under tight standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the Government and the temple committee.

Temple President P. Maniam said the devotees felt grateful for having a meaningful Thaipusam celebration this year after two years of subdued celebrations nationwide due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
