Kota Kinabalu: Some 124 Filipinos and Indonesians were rounded up for violation of immigration travel requirements in Putatan, near here, last week.

The integrated operation dubbed “Operasi Patuh Bersepadu”, conducted by enforcement personnel from the Kota Kinabalu Immigration Department and the local police, began on Wednesday evening and continued until 2am the following day at Tanjung Dumpil and Pulau Merumtum. Some 54 Immigration officers and 19 policemen were involved in the operation.
