Star confident of Melalap seat
Stephen received 500 new Star memberships from Mohd Ridzuan.
Tenom: Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) Sabah is confident of a victory for the Melalap constituency in both parliamentary and State seats.

Star Vice-President Kapitan Stephen Teo said the optimism was based on the latest developments which showed that more partyless voters here were joining the party.

“The new addition from many former national and local party supporters is also a confidence booster,” he said.

Stephen, who is also a Board Member of the Sabah Rubber Industry Board (LIGS), said this when launching the Pamilaan District Polling Centre (PDM) election machinery in Kg Ulu Tepoh, Saturday.

Also present were Star Melalap Division Chief, Syarin Dewin, Division Vice Chief Gosibin Yosundang and Nordin Ibrahim, Information Chief Jubin Kinsil, Division Committee Member Petrus Hendrikus and Jamal Jaafar.

At the ceremony, Stephen received 500 new Star membership forms from PDM Tenom Utara, presented by Division Secretary Mohd Ridzuan Shah bin Gulam Hussein. Syarin said a series of new Star membership form submissions will follow, including the Kg Pengalat Sabah Heritage Party branch which was previously led by Melalap Assemblyman Datuk Peter Anthony.

In the last election, Star had won PDM Pamilaan through Parliamentary candidate Azroy Hasmin Abdullah.
