Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Town and Housing Development Board (LPPB) is sticking to its decision to evict all residents of the Tanjung Aru low-cost flats despite their pleas for consideration.

Its Chairman Datuk Masiung Banah said the flats built 50 years ago in the 1970s for rent by LPPB are no longer safe for occupation based on the technical and engineering reports by the State Public Works Department (PWD) and consultant Kumpulan Ikram (Sabah) Sdn Bhd.
