SANDAKAN: The Sabah government is the only State government that has allocation specifically for lion heads for the Chinese community, showing the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government’s effort to keep the Chinese tradition alive. Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Datuk Roland Chia Ming Shen, said GRS had allocated RM1 million to contribute some 200 lion heads to registered lion dance troupes in the State this year.
