District Dakwah role for Muslim DOs and ADOs

Kota Kinabalu: Muslim district officers and assistant district officers in Sabah have been appointed as District Dakwah Chairman by the Special Tasks Office to better coordinate Islamic dakwah programmes and celebrations with the Sabah Islamic Religious Council (Muis) and Sabah Islamic Affairs Department (Jheains).

Special Tasks Minister Datuk Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif said such appointments were made to facilitate Islamic authorities in organising programmes, including celebrating events such as Maal Hijrah, Maulidurasul and Quran Recital, among other.
