Kota Kinabalu: A total of 129 people were conferred various State awards and medals by Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin at the Istana Seri Kinabalu, here, Thursday.Leading the list of 13 recipients of the Ahli Setia Darjah Kinabalu (ASDK) are former Chief Executive Officer of Benta Wawasan Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Innoprise Corporation Sdn Bhd, Yayasan Sabah Zulkifli Usof, former Chief Assistant Director of the Sabah Fisheries Department, Sapli Mulok former Managing Director of Yayasan Usaha Maju Sabah Freddy Rantau.
Also receiving ASDK, is the Sabah State Museum Director Arif Abdul Hamid and Lumadan Distrit Head Tajudin Asari.
Also present was consort to Juhar, Toh Puan Norlidah Tan Sri R.M. Jasni at the Istana Seri Kinabalu Ceremonial Hall.
Meanwhile, Juhar also conferred State medals of Ahli Darjah Kinabalu (ADK) to 13 recipients, among them Persatuan Wanita Tuaran Chairperson Sarinah Abdullah, Sabah State Library Director Fatimah Abdillah, Kota Belud District Officer Diyannah Abdullah and Hotel Procurement Manager Ng Tze Sai.
The ceremony also saw 37 recipients of the Bintang Setia Kinabalu (BSK), among them is the Sandakan Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division Head ASP Freddy Untun.
While 60 other recipients were awarded Bintang Kinabalu (BK), followed by the awarding of Pingat Perkhidmatan Terpuji (PPT) medals to six recipients whom attended the auspicious occasion here.
