Yapeim’s RM50K to ease plight of flood victims

KUALA PENYU: The Malaysian Islamic Economic Development Foundation (Yapeim) contributed  RM50,000 for the implementation of Flood Aid for Sabah.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Senator Idris Ahmad said the fund contribution was received from Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad to build clean water tanks in Kg Garama and Kg Kuridak in Beaufort as well as the construction of four boats for use during the flood season by the Malaysia Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Sabah.
