ZAMBOANGA CITY: BIMP-EAGA Business Council for Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BEBC-BARMM) Chairman Redentor “Popoy” Laudin (pic) appealed to the Sabah Government to scrap the Tag and Pilotage requirement fees for cargo vessels (500 tons and below) doing commercial and barter trade transactions with Malaysia.The tagging and pilotage fees amounting RM4,000 and RM1, 200, respectively, per trip is a financial burden on the part of Filipino businessmen, investors and traders apart from becoming a discouraging factor.
