Postpone all physical events: Safar
Kota Kinabalu: The State Government has recommended all physical events be postponed to prevent the further spread of Covid-19 infections.

State Secretary Datuk Seri Safar Untong said the directive follows the sharp increase in the number of Covid-19 cases.

“The trend of daily case reports has shown an increase over the past five days and is expected that the number will continue to rise as people are non-compliant with the standard operating procedures (SOPs).

“It is recommended that the organisation of formal and informal government gatherings that have been scheduled be postponed or held online to control the infection,” he said.
