Kota Kinabalu: Malaysia's new Covid-19 cases surged to 20,939 Covid-19 today according to an update from Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The last time the number of cases exceeded 20,000 were 21,176 reported on Sept 10.
The total number of infections now stood at 2,996,361, Noor Hisham said on Twitter.
