SANDAKAN: Six firefighters from the Sandakan Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) led by Operations Officer Rosemidian Majid assisted the police in retrieving the body of a man who was found under the house (pic) in Kg Cenderamata, here, Monday.

Sandakan BBP Chief Jimmy Lagung said they received a call about 11.17am and deployed a team fully equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) to the scene.

He said the body of Rahman Salleh, 31, was brought up before being handed over to the police for further action.

“The operation ended at 12.48pm,” he said. Sandakan District Police Chief ACP Mohd Azhar Hamin confirmed the case as Sudden Death Report (SDR).
